The Woodlands

We visited Aunt Holly & Uncle Carl's new home on Sunday- so beautiful & picturesque! They are going to have such a wonderful time living up there. We got the full tour of the house , yard & local park. Then we headed to a nearby pond fed from Lake Woodlands. Andy let the boys drive around his remote control boat- very cool!! Next, it was off to the water taxi's, trolley rides lunch!

Dog Show 2009

We headed to the annual Houston Dog Show on Saturday. Mom is always very involved with the Scotty group so we got in through the "doggie" door. Our neighbors, Michele, Morgan & Madison came along- they are HUGE dog lovers. All four girls were in dog wonderland- one beautiful breed after another to see & a lot of times to pet!

Finally, here is Stump! He won Westminster this year- he is 10 years old!!!! We did not wait in the long line to "meet" him- just snapped a pic as we walked by......

It was fun as always- I think our neighbors can't wait to go again next year!

Chuck E. Cheese. One of my absolute least favorite places to be but those kiddos love that place! Audrey's playgroup ended up there on morning & it was actually pretty manageable. No insane crowds and the tokens actually last a while when you are 3. The kids were fighting over whose quarter got to go into the machine.
The next week we headed back Claudia's home- always a wonderful hostess!! Well, the weather continues to be scorching here & the mommies just don't want to go outside. So, Claudia brought the fun indoors by setting up her bounce house in the living room! The kids went crazy!

Virginia in town!!

Aunt Joan & Andy's cousin Emily & her Husband Kevin (our first chance to meet him) were in town for their annual Texas visit. We got spoiled for the weekend while Barbara, Joan & Frank baby sat the kiddos & we played! We visited the Bayou Bend collection one afternoon, hit Sambuca Jazz club on Saturday night & headed to Austin on Sunday for delicious mexican food & some site-seeing. Swim Lessons 2009

This year we headed back to our beloved YMCA for a round of swim lessons. Meagan is almost 100% on her own- she works so hard & loves it!! Audrey dares to be more daring this year- getting the face wet is no longer a problem! Actually, she is really enjoying the water as much as Meagan, just needs a little more courage. I am enjoying being the grown-up mom on the side instead of in the water with mommy-tot class!! We went with our neighbors & enjoyed every second!!

Playgroup Summer 2009

We love our friends from SFLC!!! I have met some truly wonderful Moms that are now dear friends to me. This summer the moms from Audrey's class organized a play group every Wednesday. So here are some pics from our adventure at Veronica's house- thanks for your hospitality!!!! They recently got a giant inflatable water slide/slide for the back yard- it wore the kiddos out!!! Good friends, good food- great time!!
