Tubing in the neighborhood

Our second day, we ventured to a bit bigger hill for the kiddos to sled down. Dave & Susan's neighborhood has a great park with big "bowl" in the middle. Great for sliding down & not too hard to walk back up. The kids were definitely tired at the end!
Here is James showing us how it is done:

Dave loaded up James & Kate for a little family fun:

Here goes Meagan:

Back up the hill for James:

William was all smiles & got pretty fancy with his "crashes":

Here is Audrey waiting for the runway to clear:

It is hard to see but she is giggling & smiling all the way down- no fear!!

Go Meagan!!

William super-manning it!!

Go James! This is a goog shot of the hill...

The Walters girls:
Dave & Katherine- whoa!!

Two sisters having a ball!!

Uncle Dave taking Meagan for a spin:

Auds & Mommy:

Little Auds pulled her fair share of sleds back up the hill. It was so cute to see her so bundled up in the snow suit & waddle around!

Meagan on the disc:

They tried to slide without the sleds (we had to share, so they were getting impatient) but it did not work so well!

This is a great expression on James face:

Another wipe out for William:

Dave got this video of Meagan going down:

First Day in Colorado

As soon as we got to Dave & Susan's home in Littleton, CO (just outside of Denver), we hit the snow!! Of course, it was in their front yard, so very convenient. The girls started off by cautiously walking on the "foreign" substance but quickly got in the snow spirit! Touching, throwing, rolling, lying in & eventually tasting! We even got the sleds out of the garage & hit the mini slope between the two houses- the kids rode pretty well right into the street! It was a good start for what was to come.....

I think she likes it.....

Here are the girls trying to make angels, but the snow was too "dry". Who would have thought!
They had a blast just pulling around the sled with each other in it- more fun than the wagon at home!

Here is Andy helping Audrey sled down Kramer Hill!!
Auds made it down to the curb!! She giggled the whole way!!

Meags just wanted to play with!

Mmmmm!!

Here is Meagan starting trouble....

Meags! Are you warm???

Christmas Dinner at the Walters' Home

We finished off Christmas with dinner at the Walters' home (D-Dad & Mimi that is). Yummy steak & lots of goodies as we celebrated with Andy's parents, Holly, Carl & the boys! There was even a birthday celebration for Holly- our Christmas baby! Happy 29th Holly- we love you! I so wished I would have gotten a pick of Holly with her photo album I made. It was recipes from MANY family members & friends along with old & new pictures of them & of Holly. It was pretty neat- I think Holly liked it too!!
Anyways, we got the boys some Hulk gloves- they didn't take to them so much that night but we heard they got pretty good with them in the days afterwards.
Here is Graham attacking a gift!

Hutch getting a little help from Meagan.

Aunt Holly trying to prompt some interest in the gloves but Hutch was checking out the box- oh well!!

Meagan & her favorite "caroler" at Mimi's house- she has enjoyed that doll every year!

We said our good-bye's & headed home for our early start in the morning- Colorado here we come!!!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was quiet, relaxing & prepared for way ahead of time!! Santa managed to have all the toys assembled prior to Christmas Eve so he could relax & enjoy his holiday. The girls were thrilled with their deliveries- Santa did good this year!
Audrey got that purple princess bike! She is busy checking everything out in this pic.

Meagan, our dress up girl, got a beautiful vanity & stool to match her bedroom furniture. She loved it!! Especially the make-up inside!

Already getting fancy! A little blush...

A little eye shadow....
Oh Andy! We are in trouble....

Auds! Can you answer the phone?!!

Mom was there too- she enjoyed watching the girls burn through the packages & stockings.

Elefun! They gave up on the nets & decided to catch them bare-handed!

Who needs more presents! Can we go outside yet??

Andy playing mario cart- our gift to each other!

Grandad getting in on some Wii bowling action!
Mimi gets a strike!!
We finished off a yummy breakfast/brunch with Sunday morning casserole, yummy bacon, & Aunt Janice's monkey balls- delicious! Then we headed outdoors so Auds could try out that bike! She needed some ride time since we leave for vacation the next day!

Here she comes.....

There she goes....
