Today we headed to Enchanted Gardens in Richmond for their pumpkin festival. WOW! It was pretty neat! Our neighbors, Tony & Lindsay, told us about it so we deciced to check it out. There was so much for the girls to do & it was all free. We did make a small donation to animal rescue, but it was a fun afternoon. Unfortunately, the weather was not as nice as it has been. The humidity & heat has snuck back in- yuck!

Meagan doing the bean-bag toss:

Audrey's turn at point blank range...this jack-o-lantern never had a chance.

Hula Hoop toss....

Audrey hooped herself a couple of times, but she finally got one over the scarecrow's head (with a little help from the nice boy in the picture)

Duck pond...

Let's go fishin'.....

I got one dad!!!

Painting pumpkins- Beautiful!!!

Of course they had to pick pink & purple paint brushes! HELLO!! They tried to make pink & purple paint from the primary colors they were given.

There was even a hay maze!! They had everything! The girls were a little confused at first but Meagan caught on quick & pulled Audrey around. They were giggling all the way through- too cute!

Meagan found a sweet kitty at the end of the maze....

Did I mention all the free food & treats??

Cotton candy...

Snow cones.....

Plus candy, cookies, candy, popcorn, candy, cupcake walk, candy, juice boxes, candy, bottled water & more candy!! (did I mention candy- because they had just a teeny-weeny bit)

Then we hit the petting zoo. Meagan loved it- had to pet EVERY animal there. Audrey, not so much. Too many things her size or bigger in a very small space. She did manage to get a few pets in, but she hung out safely in mommy's arms!

Kangaroo- very cute!

"Baby" the deer...

I'm almost touching it!! Don't move!

Sweet little piggie!

Just Auds size- they loved this little guy...

This place is a beautiful nursery & garden center so we had to get a shot in front of one of their beautiful gardens. A big pong with gorgeous lily pads, pots, trees & flowing water.

Happy fall!!!!
