Well, we got a little sleep and were up early to take on the real Disney World! Magic Kingdom here we come! Our first ride was the tram from the parking lot to the front gates. We were evil & told the girls it was the Disney ride & that it was time to go after we got off- Audrey loved it & was holding on for dear life like it was a roller coaster but Meagan did not fall for it! Smartie pants!! Anyways, our dear friend Ofelia assured us that the actual opening time is ALWAYS an hour earlier than the given time. So there we were at 8am ready to go in- but it did not open until 9am on the dot!! Love you anyway Ofelia- and you more than made up for it with those awesome reservations at the Crystal Palace for lunch!! We were there for the opening ceremonies- Mickey & the gang arrived on the train (& I mean ALL the characters!) to open the park with the works- singing & dancing!! It was magical from the beginning!! Here we are in front of the train station....

Our first character sighting!!!! It took the girls all of half a second to figure out who it was.....
Our first ride was Winnie the Pooh & then Dumbo- it was so beautiful!! They wanted to ride every ride again as soon as the ride ended- it was so hard to get beyond the here & now when it was so magical!!
Next we hit Ariel's grotto- you wait in line to meet Ariel in person. It was our first princess encounter!! She was gorgeous & completely captivating to the girls. We got some great pics & video. Andy waited outside with our stuff while I took the girls in. I showed him the pics & his exact words were "WOW, Ariel is HOT!"
Fairy god-mother....
We met Belle (surprisingly similar to the wicked stepmother) at Belle's story time. Meagan was disappointed she did not get picked to be in the story but they loved getting their pic after wards!
I had to snap this one of Andy....very excited to be waiting on another princess picture line!
We saw the step-mother & step-sisters together later. Just thought I would throw this in- they really looked & acted the part!
That concludes the first half of the day. Next was lunch at the Crystal Palace!!! More to come....
