After 12 hours, several back-ups, & the most rain we have seen in a long time.....we made it to Destin!!! We got out & immediately ran over the sand dune to see what was in store- GORGEOUS sugar white beaches indeed! The water is crystal clear & a beautiful emerald green just as expected! We are NOT in Texas anymore! Our cottage is soooo cute! Babs already wants to plan another stay here! This morning we had a yummy breakfast & hit the waves. Sand castles, boogie boarding, snorkeling (you can really see!), more food & lots of sun! We are thoroughly enjoying ourselves!! More to come but here are some pics from the car (the girls were angels the WHOLE time- no kidding mom!!) & then some pics from this morning....
